Neighborhood Ties Program
Could you benefit from a visit at least twice a month from our Neighbor Ties Volunteers?  Maybe you have had surgery and need this service short term, or maybe you have felt isolated for a longer time.  These visitors might just sit and talk with you or play a board game, share tea and a cookie, or take a drive with you.  We match your needs with our volunteer's strengths.

Perhaps you want to help an isolated or lonely senior.  This is a unique and meaningful opportunity to provide friendship and assistance.  Visit a short or long term isolated person.  This program provides an opportunity for help and companionship.  We match Neighborhood Ties volunteers with each senior's needs and each volunteer's strengths. Training is provided for all volunteers.

Refer yourself or someone else or if you would like to volunteer, talk with our Social Worker Melissa or Center Director Carlye at (206) 297-0403.

PNA Villages
Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA)
We are partnering with PNA to bring this impressive program to Ballard.  This is a great program providing many services for seniors to stay in their own community as they age.  There are many services available and opportunities to volunteer.  For more information contact Center Director Carlye, Social Worker Melissa, or another staff member by calling the center at (206) 297-0403.
